Volunteer in Africa

Sign up and assist at one of the most successful literacy projects in Cape Town that focuses on learners in grades 2 and 3. The average age of pupils is between seven and 10 years old.

Are you looking to Volunteer in Africa

Children from the townships travel to schools in Cape Town in the hope of receiving a better standard of education than that available to them in their own communities. Their lessons at these schools are in English which, for many, is a second or even third language, meaning they often struggle in class.

This project aims to improve the education children receive by increasing their proficiency in English, developing their love for reading and books plus strengthening their self-esteem.

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for those looking to Volunteer in Africa.
